Day of the Handicapped is also known as the International Day of People with
Disability (IDPD). It is observed on 3 December to raise awareness about
understanding and accepting people with disabilities. The theme for 2021 is
“Leadership and participation of persons with disabilities toward an inclusive,
accessible and sustainable post-COVID-19 world.”
