Teachers' Day is celebrated on 5 October every year in the whole world to
commemorate the anniversary of the adoption of the ILO/UNESCO Recommendation
concerning the Status of Teachers in 1966. No doubt this Recommendation sets
benchmarks regarding the rights and responsibilities of teachers, education,
recruitment, employment, etc.
