Day is observed on 11 November and is also known as Laemistice de la Premiere
Guerre Mondiale in France. This day is observed in the commemoration of the end
of World War I. Some countries also call it Remembrance Day. Let us tell you
that on 11 November 1918, an armistice was signed between the Allied Forces and
Germany at Compiegne in northern France.

India's first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. He served as the
first education minister of independent India from 1947 to 1958.
